[Scripture in red indicates wisdom or instruction from our Savior and God's only Son, Jesus Christ.]

Deuteronomy 20: 1-20 These passages in the Old Testament spell out the regulations concerning war.

Deuteronomy 30: 15 We have a choice between prosperity and disaster. Love the Lord your God, keep His laws and walk in His ways, and you will become a great nation. Otherwise, you will be destroyed.

1 Samuel 12: 14-15 If you fear the Lord, serve and obey Him and do not rebel against His commandments, then He will guide and protect both you and your ruler. But if you rebel against the Lord and do not obey Him, He will be against you as He was with your ancestors.

1 Samuel 12: 25 If you know right from wrong but are stubborn and still act wickedly, you will be swept away, both you and your ruler.

2 Chronicles 7: 14 The Lord said, "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land."

Psalms 2: 1-12 Act wisely, you rulers of nations. Serve the Lord with reverent fear. Submit to God's Son, or you will be destroyed in the midst of your pursuits.

Psalms 9: 15-17 Nations have fallen into the pit they have dug for others. They have been caught in their own trap. The Lord is known for justice. This is the fate of all nations who ignore God.

Psalms 22: 27-28 The whole earth will acknowledge the Lord and return to Him. People from every nation will bow down before Him. The Lord is king. He rules all nations.

Psalms 31: 23-24 Love the Lord! The Lord protects those who are faithful to Him, but He harshly punishes all who are arrogant. Be strong and take courage, all you who put your hope in the Lord.

Psalms 33: 10-22 What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord! The best equipped army cannot save a country. But the Lord watches over those who fear Him, those who rely on His unfailing love. We depend on the Lord alone to save us.

Psalms 44: 5-7 Only those who praise and trust God can be saved from their enemies.

Psalms 47: 3 He subdues the enemies of the faithful.

Psalms 108: 12-13 Human help against our enemies is useless. With God's help we will do mighty things, for He will trample down our foes.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8 There is a time for everything.

Isaiah 59: 9 It is because of sin that deliverance is sometimes far from us. That is why God doesn't punish those who injure us.

Jeremiah 18: 2-10 Just as a potter can squash his work that he was not pleased with and start over, so can the Lord crush one nation and build up another. If a nation turns corrupt and does not reverse its path, the Lord will allow it to be destroyed.

Matthew 24: 6-8 Jesus said of the end of the world, 'Wars will break out, but don't panic. The end won't follow immediately. There will be famines and earthquakes, but all this is only the beginning.'

Mark 13: 7-8 Jesus said of the end of the world, 'Wars will break out, but don't panic. The end won't follow immediately. There will be famines and earthquakes, but all this is only the beginning.'

Luke 21: 7-11 Jesus said of the end of the world, 'Wars will break out, but don't panic. The end won't follow immediately. There will be famines and earthquakes, but all this is only the beginning.'

Acts 17: 26-28 From one man, God created all nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand which should rise and fall, and He determined their boundaries. Although we are not far from Him, His purpose in all of this is to lead us to Him.

Romans 9: 1-29 God chooses according to His plan, not according to our good or bad works. For example, He will put one nation of people against another to show His power and His mercy and to fulfill His will.

Hebrews 3: 7-19 Be careful to listen to the Holy Spirit within you. Don't turn away from God as Israel did and cause God to turn away from you. Warn each other every day to be faithful and trust in the living God, so that we will share in all that belongs to Christ.

2 Peter 3: 11-13 At the end of the world, everything around us is going to melt away in flames. But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth He has promised, a world where everyone is right with God.

Jude 1: 5-7 This is a lesson to be learned: After God rescued the whole nation of Israel from Egypt, He later destroyed every one of those who did not remain faithful. He later destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because they were filled with sexual immorality.

Revelation 1: 4-5 Jesus Christ freed us from our sins by shedding His blood for us. He was the first to rise from the dead, and He is the commander of all the rulers of the world.

Results Can Vary: Common words are ignored (such as: "if, for, and, because, when, what, where..."). If a word is not found in our keyword database, that word is also ignored. For example, 'sowing love' could find a passage referring to forbidden foods listed in the Old Testament because 'sowing' is not a keyword and 'cloven' includes the characters 'love.' Finally, not all Bible text is searched. Only significant words are considered, although that list is being constantly refined.
Note to Readers: This is a condensed representation derived from several versions of the Christian Bible. Scripture and other information are presented here so readers can refer to and interpret the same passages in their preferred versions.
